Fun dance futuristic jazzy-glitchy house song we initially made for a challenge-contest we hosted in our Discord server back on April 1st and then decided it had the potential to become a finished work! (BTW join our server here =) discord.gg/hKqNqHfECj)

In the contest, the song had to be done in 3 days, with the following limitations:

-You must use one of the 4 bot-randomly-generated melodies we provide(which you’re not able to modify) as a main element.

-You must use exclusively the sounds from a sample pack that we provide to make the entire song, not synths, not resynthesis of the samples, not importing them as wavetables, JUST sampler and post-processing allowed.

The sounds in this track were made by using techniques like micro-sampling (picking up a very small portion of any sample and use the looping and crossfade functions on the sampler to get a waveform, turning the sampler into a 1-oscillator synth and using the volume, panning, filter and pitch envelopes and LFOs to shape the sounds like i want them) and layering, for tonal sounds, and destructive processing on percussive/noisy sounds for drums.
